Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This policy explains what we do with the personal information you give us through this website. We have written it in plain language so it is easy to follow. It is designed to meet our obligations under the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act (2021 Revision) (the "DPA").

1. Who we are

Ironshore Advisory Ltd. (trading as Ironshore Advisory) operates this website at https://ironshoreadvisory.com.

For the purposes of the DPA, we are the data controller for the information described in this policy. That means we decide why and how your personal information is used.

You can contact us about privacy matters at:

Address: 117, 10 Market Street, Cayman Islands. KY1-9006
Email: [email protected]

2. What information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us when you fill in our enquiry form. That is:

  • your name; and
  • any contact details you provide so we can reply (for example, your email address or phone number).

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health, race, religion, or financial details), and you should not send it to us through the form.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our third-party partners may collect information using cookies, pixel tags, or similar technologies. Cookies are small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to our Services.

Information We Receive from Other Sources

We may receive information about you from other sources, including third parties that help us update, expand, and analyse our records, identify new customers, or detect or prevent fraud. What information we receive from third parties is governed by the privacy settings, policies, and/or procedures of the relevant organisations, and we encourage you to review them.

3. Why we use your information and our legal basis

We use your information to respond to your enquiry. Our legal basis for doing so is our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and, where relevant, marketing our services.

We may also collect data about your interactions with our Services to help us understand how you use them and to improve them. This may include information such as session lengths and times, the specific pages and other content you view, and any searches you conduct on our site.

You can tell us to stop using your information for marketing at any time (see section 8). We will always give you an easy way to opt out.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run the website and respond to enquiries, for example our website host or email provider. These providers act as our data processors: they may only use your information on our instructions and must keep it secure.

We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.

5. Sending information outside the Cayman Islands

Our service providers may store or process your information outside the Cayman Islands. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your information receives a level of protection that is broadly equivalent to the protection required under the DPA, in line with the DPA's rules on international transfers.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as we need it. In practice:

  • we will delete it if you ask us to; and
  • we will delete it automatically if we have had no further contact with you for 24 months.

7. How we protect your information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure and to protect it against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

8. Your rights under the DPA

Under the DPA you have the right to:

  • be informed about how we use your information (this policy);
  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to stop using your information where our use is causing, or is likely to cause, damage or distress;
  • stop us using your information for direct marketing at any time; and
  • complain to the Ombudsman and seek compensation through the courts if you believe we have not handled your information properly.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within the time the DPA allows.

9. Complaints

We hope to resolve any concern you raise with us directly. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Cayman Islands data protection regulator:

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Please check back for the current version.
